02997 motor insurance technical motor Engineer Coordinator Tonbridge or remote work from home £18,000 - £23,000 paWe have a dedicated team of experts who offer all our customers a bespoke tailored solution, using proactive and cutting-edge technology that enables us market leading results.Who are youAs an Engineering Customer Service Co-ordinator, youll be committed to providing our customers with a world-class claims service by ensuring that their claims are assessed quickly and where appropriate, settled in the shortest possible time in line withindustry and company guidelines.What youll be doingYou will be working within a team dealing with our policy holder who has suffered a loss following an incident involving their car and so you will be patient and empathetic. You will proactively manage our Policyholders/Third parties repairs throughout theirjourney. You must be able to obtain all relevant information and record this accurately while providing the Policy Holder with excellent customer service and assistanceKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport inbound and outbound calls in relation to supplier claim queries for repair, total loss, invoicing and recovery chargesProvide invoice payments to our Approved Repairers and to Non- Approved repairers for their services.Negotiate and agree storage and recovery costs, ensuring there is no delay to the customer journeyMaintain supplier relationshipsUpdate MIAFTR records and salvage clearanceFirst time resolution of any complaintsCompile all inherited charges on claim to complete recovery pack on non-fault / split claimsSend engineers non fault recovery invoice listProvide any supporting documents for recovery teamHealth and safety requirementsConduct yourself, and carry out work, to ensure compliance with the Companys Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.Skills we need: -Good working knowledge of motor vehicle construction and modern repair techniques.Motor Claims knowledge including a basic understanding of insurance principlesGood working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems, including AudatexGood spoken and written communication skillsAccuracy and attention to detailPositive and self-confident approach when dealing with our customers.Ability to utilise qualities such as empathy, tact, assertiveness and diplomacy when talking to our customersAbility to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and where required be able to use own initiative.PC literate with good administrative skillsAbility to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessarydemonstrable ability in numeracy skills & written EnglishWhat we can offerSalary Neg depending on experienceAnnual leave allowance of 22 days plus bank holidays37.5 hours per week
