Job Description

ROLE – Maintenance EngineerLOCATION – KentTERM – Permanent, full timeSALARY - £40k - £45kMy client who specialise in the FMCG sector are actively recruiting for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This company are seeking an ambitious individual, who has experience with in the fast-paced environment, to carry out machine maintenance working with a wide range of complex machinery. This FMCG company can offer career stability and progression to the right Engineer, they are very busy in the current climate.The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following skills/experience:

  • Working in the FMCG / food production environment
  • Machinery maintenance in fast-paced environment
  • Electrical and/or mechanical qualification
  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Working with PLC’s, invertors or drives
  • The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Responding to machinery breakdowns to carry out reactive maintenance repairs
  • Fault diagnosis on a wide range of electrical, mechanical and automated systems
  • Fault finding using technical drawings and PLC’s
  • Identifying and implementing machine process improvements
  • Carrying out machine installation and continuous improvement project work
  • The successful Maintenance Engineer will earn a salary between £40,000 & £45,000 plus benefits.They fully support career development if this appeals and the work is very varied providing constant challenges.
