Teaching personnel is the UKs leading education recruitment agency and we are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work in SEND schools in Tonbridge, Kent.Learning Support Assistants will work with children who have physical disabilities/mild to severe Learning Disabilities/Autism/ADHD/Dyslexia/Dyspraxia/complex social and emotional needs and mental health issues.You do not need to have had previous experience to apply for this role, but experience working with children in a Nursery setting or as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be advantageous.Teaching Personnel have full and part time work available and the placements in schools can be short term or long term. There is also the potential to go temp to perm at your favourite schools!The shifts will usually be: Monday- Friday Time: 08:30-15:30 and there are full and part time placements available.The ideal candidates will have lots of patience, be proactive, be resiilient and have positive personality!Qualifications needed-Minimum would be GCSEs in English and Maths (A-C Grade)Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and we offer free child protection training and all of our candidates undergo a strict vetting procedure including an enhanced DBS.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
