Despite our heavy use of technology, the success of a project is very much down to the people involved. Organisational skills - My client delivered 67 projects in the last 12 months with a team of 18 totalling over 4,000 hours of development. To do this enjoyably requires great planning and organisation. Project management - You will also be the Project Manager on some projects giving you the opportunity to understand and help refine the role.Experience Previous experience will be essential in the following areas: Managing customer relationships. Consistently delivering complex projects involving a multi-disciplinary team. Budget Negotiation Conflict resolutionResponsibility and Tasks Managing the customer relationship. Supporting the Project Managers. Listening Post to the development team of Solution Architects, Developers and Delivery managers. Coordinating Projects like a Project Manager Coordinates tasks.Skills - Required Attention to detail combined with a strategic multi-project vision. Resource Planning, ensuring the entire development team is operating optimally. Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, etc. Self-confidence. Comfortable with the standard office software - Windows, Word, Excel, Browsers, Google apps. Conscientiousness - Conscientious people are efficient and organized as opposed to easy-going and disorderly. Positive attitude and energy - Good energy rubs off on others to create a great working environment!
