Job Description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a few Band 6 Registered Nurses to fill a full-time role in Tonbridge, Kent. You will be working for the Hospital at Home/Rapid Response service. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of community nursing and the practices within the NHS.In this NHS role, you will need acute experience of post-operative patients and you must be able to understand and can undertake observation and assessments. You will need to complete both male and female urinary catheterization and catheter management. You must be able to do wound management, dressings, wound assessment, vacuum pumps, and wound drains.This role is Monday to Sunday, 08:00-16:00 or 14:00-22:00, with potentially longer days.The pay rate for this Band 6 Registered Nurse is £22.00 per hour (Umbrella) due to start ASAP.Requirements of this Band 6 Registered Nurse vacancy:

  • You must be a registered general nurse with a valid NMC pin.
  • You must be able to support this service for at least 6 months.
  • You must have experience within rapid response
  • You must be able to work the hours required.
  • You must be skilled in IV drug administration and cannulation
  • You must be a car drive with own vehicle
