Job Description

Area Sales ManagerLocations: Tonbridge, KentSalary: Base to £35,000pa, OTE £55,000Company car, laptop and mobileJob Type: Full time - Home basedSummary:Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality stainless steel and aluminium equipment to the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries. They are seeking to recruit experienced Area Sales Manager to support continued growth of their business.Job Duties:

  • You will be responsible for sales activity within their territory.
  • You will identify and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, meeting agreed sales targets.
  • Plan and manage a business and territory portfolio in line with the development strategy.
  • Update customer and prospect CRM and following up sales enquiries.
  • Organise local marking activities including product launch promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities to support the development of a sustainable and profitable business plan.
  • Work with Sales Engineers and Production Staff for an integrated approach, and an increase in sales and customer satisfaction.
Skills & Experience:.
  • Successful career to in B2B sales - ideally food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors
  • Have an interest in technical and project management in an engineering environment.
  • Site measurement experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • A full driving licence.
Benefits:
  • This role offers an annual basic to £35,000pa and with OTE £55,000
  • 28 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days) increasing with service.
