2nd Line Infrastructure Support EngineerPaddock WoodUp to £32kAre you customer-focused, technical and has excellent communication skills looking to further yourcareer and thrive in an enjoyable working environmentWould you like to work for a company established for 25 years with an outstanding reputationWould you like hybrid workingAre you an experienced 2nd line Infrastructure Engineer looking for a new challengeAs a flexible employer, our client has embraced a hybrid working culture with their2nd line Proactive teams working from the office 1-2 days a week, however, more days in the office is possible.As part of thededicated NOC team, you will work closely with our team supporting and helping our clients succeed through technology by monitoring and maintaining clients infrastructure optimizing and mitigating risks.. As second line support, you willbe there for escalations providing exceptional telephone and remote support and if necessary an onsite response.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Provide Remote/Onsite 2nd Line support covering NOC tickets in our Proactive Support team
  • Remediate tickets such as server, network, infrastructure relating to failures/alerts/optimisation
  • On a shared Rota, complete Monthly/Quarterly best practice client assessments
  • Providing an escalation point for 1st line Service Desk Engineers
  • Replacement implementation work covering core infrastructure technology such as server components, networking equipment
  • Contribute to daily backup checks
  • Working in order of SLA and priority of tickets
  • System documentation
  • Work in accordance with company values, policies and procedures
What you will need:
  • Ideally you will be from a Managed Service background
  • Positive and passionate about technology
  • Tenacious with strong problem solving skills
  • 2nd Line level Experience with most of our core technologies: Microsoft 365, SharePoint, MS Desktop (Windows 10), MS Server (2012/2019), Hyper V, VMware, Azure, Switches, Routers, Firewalls (Watchguard), DHCP, DNS, MS Office (2010/365), Antivirus, Printers& Active Directory & Veeam
