Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team on a12 Month Fixed Term Basisas aLaundry Supervisorsituated at ourTividaleOperations Centre for phs Besafe, part of phs Groupthe leadingHygiene Services provider in the UK. We need that special someone with experience in either production, manufacturing or with commercial laundry experience to assist the depot with the day-to-day running of the laundry, ensuring that all phs Besafe productsare washed to a high standard and in accordance with phs Group company procedures. We specialise in flexible and reliable managed workwear and unique commercial laundry services, ideal for industrial businesses looking to relieve the pressure of managing employees workwearmaking us the market-leading provider across the UK.A day in the life of a Laundry Supervisor with phs Besafe will involve:

  • Assist the Depot Manager with the day-to-day running of the laundry, end of week/period processes such as KPI data gathering and stocktaking as directed.
  • To ensure that all laundry plant and equipment is operated and maintained inaccordance with manufacturers instructions and Besafe safe systems of work.
  • To be prepared to cover any work station due to holidays or other absences bycolleagues.
  • To ensure that all laundry loads are processed in an appropriate timescale and relevant forms are completed.
  • To lead by example in observing all health and safety regulations and procedures and ensuring others do too.
  • To deal with all enquiries from staff, customers and other Besafe departments in atimely fashion.
  • To be the cover for Depot Manager when he/she is not on site including drivermanagement such as route put up and planning of installations and uplifts etc.
  • To be a key holder and provide assistance on alarm call outs.
The ideal candidate for a Laundry Supervisor with phs Besafe will have:
  • Previous experience of working in a production environment or commercial laundry environment.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Proven track record of team leading and motivational skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy skills.
In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get:
  • A salary of £22,000 Pro Rata (Based on a 40-hour working week Monday to Friday)
