Job Description

Senior Quantity SurveyorPerm RoleSalary £55k-£65k plus package including Car AllowanceLocation TilburyStart date January 2021My clientspecialise in flooring, screeding and wall finishes across projects in London & the south.

  • Small but experienced and well established commercial team
  • Office based in Tilbury, Essex.
  • Key sectors of work include Aviation, Commercial, Leisure, Education, Healthcare, Shopping centres, Retail etc
  • Typical projects between £20k - £5m (largest project currently at around £8m)
    • Senior QS to start in the new-year.
  • Main contracting or sub-contractor background is fine.
  • Personality and character will be key – A confident individual who is able to work comfortably with the Project Managers and identify additional information when required, a dynamic individual someone who is able to be proactive and think outside the box
  • Typical post-contractual responsibilities managing the projects through to final accounts. The estimating team manage all of the pre-construction responsibilities.
  • NEC or JCT contracts used depending on the clients requirement. Government and rail sectors tend to adopt NEC and private commercial/residential clients would more likely use JCT.
