Job Description

Our client is a long standing company based in Tilbury Docks who are searching for an Junior Internal Sales Executive to join their growing sales team. The successful candidate must be confident and eager to learn and thrive in a busy sales environment.Full sales training will be provided.Job Role:

  • Prospect for new business - warm and cold leads
  • Answer all incoming calls for customers looking to place orders
  • Responding to all enquiries in a timely manner
  • Following up on all enquiries to close the sale
  • Up sell to current clients - offering promotions
  • Arrange face 2 face meetings in their show room to promote the product
  • Strong product knowledge and a willingness to learn
  • Account management (retain previous business)
  • Liaise with other department ensuring the customers order is correct (finance, warehouse)
  • Process all orders and send out relevant documents
The Person:
  • Must have an excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with clients and business associates
  • Verbal and written communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
  • Drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  • A good problem solver when faced with customer concerns
  • Previous sales experience ideally but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
