Daily tasks will include:
  • Understanding of latest hydrogen HSE legislation, regulations, standards, codes or best practices for working with hydrogen.
  • Support partners to develop positive HSE culture, and develop excellent hazard identification and pragmatic cost-effective risk management strategies, compliance and quality.
  • Supporting accurate hydrogen HSE communications and exchanging HSE lessons learnt with stakeholders and customers.
  • Writing clear guidelines, troubleshooting, problem solving, assessing hazards, evaluating risks, planning, managing HSE projects, incident management, compliance and reporting, and supporting industry working groups, events, trade journals, website andin social media.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working as a Health and Safety Engineer is essential and if your experience covers the following sectors, it is highly advantageous: hydrogen, vehicles, echno-economic modelling, engineering, chemical engineering, liquid or gaseousfuels.
  • Proven skills in Risk and Hazard identification, assessment and management
  • Effective Communication and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders
  • The ability to effectively manage incidents and travel when it is operationally required
