The roleThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a luxury retail brand on a digital journey.This is a key appointment for the business, a successful consumer Brand who are experiencing significant growth and success.This is a newly created role to focus on their SEO, particularly the technical aspect. As the business has evolved and grown over the years, digital sales have become increasingly important. You will own the SEO strategy to deliver new customer acquisitiongrowth via organic channels and revenue targets across our core market in UK and then other international markets to follow. Creating and driving long term strategic and technical requirements for SEO including keywords, link building, analysis and auditingfrom both a content and technical perspective.What you will be doing: Drive long term strategic and technical requirements for SEO visibility growth, including keywordresearch, analysis and auditing from both a content and technical perspective, link building. Build relationships with key internal teams across technical, digital operations, external agency andwider business particularly marketing and brand to ensure our SEO strategy is aligned with otherchannels and best SEO best practice is followed Create and drive our outreach campaigns whilst establishing relationships with the widermarketing team, based on search volumes, revenue potential and brand affinity resulting in searchrankings and new traffic opportunities Manage any SEO marketing agency support resources as required, to ensure campaigns areplanned, executed and optimised in line with business requirements, ensuring adherence toperformance and service level KPIs Keep up to date on all matters relating to SEO marketing, up to date trends and technologies,together with the benefits it has within the business. Work with Senior Marketing managers for other Performance Marketing channels, to collaborateon broader projects (e.g., campaigns, attribution modelling, data sharing etc.), align activity wherenecessary and share best practice execution. Provide in depth reporting, analysis, and insight to relevant stakeholders, highlighting the storybehind actual and forecasted performance. Identify appropriate resourcing plans to grow in line with business needs and recruit and manage accordinglythen lead and mentor to continue their personal development and growth.What youll need to demonstrate: Considerable hands-on SEO marketing experience (either agency or client-side), ideally gained from a high-growth, multi-channel brand led e-commerce and/or digitally led consumer retail business where content and brand are as equally important as the technicalseo skillsets are. Expert user of experienced user of SEO tools including Google Search Console, Link Building (e.g.Ahrefs) Crawler Software (e.g. Screaming Frog and OnCrawl), Searchmetrics, SEMRush, Search Engine Business Listings (e.g. Google My Business and Bing Places) Strong knowledge, understanding and experience of Performance Marketing channels, and clearly understands the link between SEO and PPC Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, ideally with a strong proficiency in Excel, and ability tosynthesize large amounts of data and information into concise recommendations and action for the company.
