A variety of digital channels willallow the public to communicate with us in new ways, to report crime and to carry out routine transactions.To support this vision we are inviting applications for an exciting opportunity to work for Cleveland Police as an ICT Support Engineer. If you are committed to providing excellent service delivery, recognising the importance of best practice frameworksyou will be suited to this role. You will work primarily as second line support, responding to a wide range of issues escalated from the Service Desk for the further investigation required to understand and resolve in a timely manner.You will be educated to HNC or degree level, or possess equivalent ICT experience. An understanding of the ITIL principles and standards for Service Delivery and Support is required also. Prioritising tasks and working to competing deadlines is a key areafor this role, so you will be experienced in managing a demanding workload. Postholders will need to be methodical in their approach, analysing information and making effective decisions to resolve incidents and achieve best outcomes.Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 21st November 2022.The increasing pace of change in our increasingly digital society means that the role of ICT in the success of Cleveland Police will only increase over time.
