Job Description

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively working with a client in the healthcare sector who are looking to appoint an HR Manager to look after the group people activities.This is a newly created and permanent stand alone HR Manager position and a fantastic opportunity to help shape and develop the people function and agenda as the business continues to grow.Responsibilities of the HR Manager include:

  • Supporting and coaching managers and internal stakeholders with people related issues
  • Acting as first line advice for people and HR related queries
  • Reviewing and updating group policies and procedures
  • Keeping HR system and processes up to date (scope to review current system and potentially implement new systems / processes)
  • Automation of manual HR processes
  • Recruitment, onboarding and continuous development of staff
  • Managing employee relations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Taking a lead of sickness and absence. Support to bring down absence levels through monitoring and recording data
  • Reviewing and amending company benefits
  • Performance management
  • Employee engagement
  • Payroll support and processing (Monthly, with support from the finance team).
  • HR administration - issuing contracts, keeping files, documents and templates updated
  • Compliance - issuing DBS and reference checks for new starters and current staff renewals
We are keen to speak with experienced HR / People Advisors or HR Managers who are happy working in a stand alone operational role. Ideally youll be CIPD level 5 qualified or hold an equivalent HR qualification and be used to working in fast paced and dynamicenvironments. Experience working within heath, care or hospitality sectors would be an advantage but is not essential. Youll have excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to learn and support the business as it goes on its growth journey.Our client is looking to interview in December so please apply now to be considered or for a confidential conversation.
