The Finance Director will be a member of the Executive team, reporting into the CEO and will manage a team of 3
Responsibilities will include overseeing the month end process (review & analysis of management accounts), preparation of Board reports, forecasting, budgeting, cashflow management, management of debt facilities & bank covenants, draft statutory accounts,tax compliance and management of the annual audit
The Finance Director will be a key member of the executive team, shaping and driving the businesses strategy. This will involve financial planning & analysis, challenging and improving business processes, heavy involvement with M&A activity (due diligence),forecasting & margin analysis

The Person / Background

We are looking for an ACA or ACCA with strong technical and analytical skills (the business will consider CIMA qualified accounts if they are exceptional)
For first movers from practice, it would be preferable you come from a Corporate Finance background in order to add value around M&A activity, margin analysis, etc
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to both challenge and influence both internally and externally
