Job Description

A leading Manufacturing business in Thetford are looking to hire an experienced Radan CAD CAM Programmer for their Machine Shop on a full time, permanent basis. You will Program, Set and Operate CNC Laser machines, using Radan - of which previous experience is essential.Responsibilities:

  • Using engineering drawings, you will be designing the parts and processes for specific work orders.
  • Assist the Production team with raising materials & planning
  • Nesting parts using 2D RADAN software
  • Some involvement in creating welding jigs and fixtures (as and when required.)
    • In order to be considered for the role you must have:
  • Previous experience using RADAN software and therefore sheet metal industry experience.
  • A flexible approach and able to work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
    • Further requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Experienced working in a fabrication business.
  • Ability to program, set and operate CNC Laser cutting machines
  • Ability to create welding jigs and fixtures would be advantageous.
  • Able to carry out complex tasks with a minimal supervision.
    • Working Hours:2 Shift Rotation - Week 1: 6am - 3pm / Week 2: 2:45pm - 11:45pmThis is a fantastic opportunity to joining a busy and thriving manufacturing business, where you can progress your skills and gain further experience creating sheet metal components.If you have the skills and experience required, submit a copy of your CV straight away.
