Pipeline TechnicianAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pipeline Technician to join a leading Fuel storage and distribution organsiation, based in East Anglia.Their Pipeline System operates 24/7 supplying fuel to major UK airports and they are a growing multi-national logistics provider (fuels storage and distribution) with sites throughout the UK.This is a mobile role, covering pipelines around the Thetford area. You will be responsible for the day to day upkeep of the pipelines through maintaining the husbandry and controlling the vegetation along the pipeline system and carry out planned operational tasks and checks.You will be required to work standby, covering weekends.You will have experience in a pipeline operation, an understanding of ground maintenance and the use of Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.COMAH siet expereince would be advantageous.Qualifications required: 5 C Grade GCSEs or equivalent Additional requirements: Full driving licenseThis role is a contract position and inside of scope of IR35.Scantec Personnel Limited is acting as an employment business and an employment agency.
