Job Description

PHP Software DeveloperWe develop both the Course Merchant and CourseCRM software applications for Moodle, Totara, Kallidus, Brightspace and other LMS systems.Course Merchant is an e-commerce shopping cart. CourseCRM is an LMS to CRM integration utility based upon SugarCRM / SuiteCRM.Our continued growth means we now have a vacancy for a talented and experienced PHP developer.You will be engaged in the development of the Course Merchant shopping cart system and further development of our SugarCRM / SuiteCRM integration utility. This will include new feature development, new LMS integrations development, new payment gateway integrationsdevelopment, and other related software development tasks.Ideally, you will have experience of development on ecommerce (shopping cart) systems, and/or Moodle / Totara LMS development, and/or SugarCRM / SuiteCRM development. However, we are looking for a talented PHP developer first and foremost and we would encourageyou to apply even if you have no specific LMS or CRM experience.Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years experience with PHP development.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming.
  • Experience using PHP debugging tools.
  • Web development experience including HTML, Javascript/JQuery, and CSS.
  • Experience with Rest and XML RPC APIs.
  • Experience with data management in MySQL, Postgres or other databases.
Advantageous Skills & Experience:
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements in ecommerce, such as PCI.
  • Knowledge of e-learning related standards such as SCORM, IMS, etc.
  • Experience with LMS systems such as Moodle & Totara.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as SuiteCRM & SugarCRM.
  • Experience with ecommerce systems and payment gateways.
