Job Description

Our client, a growing manufacturing company based in Thetford is currently recruiting for an experienced paint sprayer. Fantastic opportunities available for the successful candidate.This role requires the paint sprayer to perform daily work tasks effectively and efficiently to the highest level, meeting all targets and reporting all issues.Main Duties:

  • Sanding, priming and painting the product.
  • Painting the product in water based paint.
  • Repairing and filling the product when required in line with agreed standards.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment and good hand-eye coordination is essential.
  • Keeping immediate work area clean and tidy at all times.
  • Working as a team to follow the daily production plan determined by either team leader or supervisor.
  • Acting in a responsible manner to follow Health & Safety requirements.
    • Personal Attributes:
  • Team Player.
  • Able to use hand tools and tape measure.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Flexible to the needs of the business on a day to day basis.
  • Good level communication and able to speak English .
    • Essential:
  • Experience of painting wood or metal in water based paint products.
  • Previous use of spray guns ( air assisted ).
  • Successful candidates must be flexible to the needs of the business on a day to day basis.
  • Willing to work in a dusty environment.
  • This is physically demanding job. You must be prepared to lift up to 20 kg.
  • Willing to work some weekends when required.
  • Punctual & Reliable.
    • Working hours:1345 to 2215 Monday to Thursday & 1300 to 2130 Friday.Optional weekend working available at competitive overtime rates.Key benefits:Free parking, company uniform, excellent ongoing training and development opportunities, competitive salary, competitive overtime rates.
