Job Description

Are you an experienced Maths Teacher with a passion for creating an impactful learning experience for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Grade A Recruitment is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated MathsTeacher to join a fantastic SEMH school in Thetford. This is a permanent role, commencing in September 2024, and we are seeking a candidate with proven experience working with special needs children.Maths Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons to students with SEMH needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the emotional and academic development of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, adapting teaching methods as required.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements (Maths Teacher):
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths, particularly in a special needs environment.
  • Understanding and experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
