  • Roudham IndustrialEstate, Thetford, NR16 2QN.
Hours
  • Monday- Friday 8:00am to 5.30pm
This role reports directly to the Assistant Depot Manager/Depot Manager. You will have the responsibility of upholding our vehicle standards therefore you will need to make a positive experience for all Flex-E-Rent customers and have a keen eye for detail,safety and functionality of ancillary equipment.Responsibilities To supervise yard activities in respect of vehicle progress andstatus of ALL vehicles at the depot.Conducting regular audits to ensure standards of preparation forhire are met, assisting VOR workshop and VOR damage claimvehicles in yard. To ensure effective audit of check-in and damage check of vehiclesarriving at the depot, ex hire, inter-depot movements and newsupplier. Checking every specialist vehicle in terms of ancillaryequipment. To carry out the depot check-in and fault/damage inspection of ALLvehicles with ancillary equipment. E.g. tail lifts, cranes, welfare etcand report any faults or damage Ensure (by Quality checks) that standards of all vehicles going onhire are maintained by regular spot checks. Valeting & driving duties on an ad hoc basis General administrationin regards to HGV ComplianceQualificationsQualified candidates must also possess the following skills/abilities:Full UK or EU Driving licence -Beneficial to have current UK CE or C Driving Licence (formerly Class 1 & 2) no more than 6 points Flexible Time management skills Good organisational skills Attention to detail Basic computer skills
