Job Description

We are looking for a Line Technician/Setter to join our Thetford based client.Working Monday to Thursday 1500 - 2330 and Fridays 1400 - 2130, the pay rate is £12.15 per hour and the position is available to start immediately.With experience in a similar position, the job tasks include:

  • Operating as part of the production line crew - which will include working in any capacity on the line, but with your main role being as Line Technician.
  • Effect cost effective and timely line change-overs for different containers and /or products. For large or long change-overs this may require assistance from other Line Setters.
  • Carry out routine and on-going adjustments throughout the line to optimise line and machine performance.
  • Within the constraints of ability and availability, assist the Engineers in major tasks as and when required.
  • Carry out basic routine maintenance
  • Carry out production line start up procedures
