NXTGEN are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturing company who are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join them on a full-time basis. The company is one that is going through a period of transformation meaning as the Finance Controller,you will have the opportunity to mold a finance team and drive the importance of positive change. As the Financial Controller you will play an integral role of the day-to-day management of the finance team along with having involvement both technically andcommercially. You will play an integral role in supporting the Finance Director in making companywide decision by providing sound financial insight.Due to being a manufacturing business an understanding of Costs, absorption costs, stock control, and budgeting is crucial. Someone who has a background within a cost accounting role or manufacturing environment will fully excel in this role. The currentFD is a brilliant people manager and has a proven track record of mentoring individuals at this level. The succession plan for the FC would be to become the FD within this business.The main duties are:
