Job Description

Are you a dedicated and experienced English Teacher with a passion for making a lasting impact on the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Grade A Recruitment is thrilled to announce an exciting permanent opportunityfor an English Teacher to join a specialized SEMH school in Thetford. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching secondary level students and must possess QTS, along with experience in working with special needs students.English Teacher- Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and tailored English lessons to secondary level students with SEMH needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional and academic growth of students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
Requirements (English Teacher):
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching English to secondary level students, preferably in a special needs environment.
  • Understanding and experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
