Job Description

Electrical Service Engineer required for a stage equipment manufacturer based in Thetford. An exciting opportunity to join an expanding business as an experienced Electrical / Mechanical mobile Service Engineer who enjoys travelling throughout the UK aspart of a close knit team based in Thetford. Ideally, an individual who is experienced with control panels that include PLC,s, Inverters, encoders etc. Experience in mechanical routine maintenance and inspection of basic lifting equipment would be desirablebut not a prerequisite as training will be provided.Electrical Service Engineer - Lifting Equipment Position Overview

  • Conducting Fault diagnosis & Minor electrical repairs by following electrical schematics to assist with root cause analysis on control systems, Product specific training will be provided.
  • Electrical compliance inspection & testing.
  • Routine PPM Mechanical maintenance of theatre equipment, training to be provided.
  • LOLER inspection of equipment and loose rigging, training to be provided.
  • Working as part of a close, friendly, and supportive team to offer our clients an honest and valued service.
  • Ensuring all administration related functions are accurate and completed timeously.
Electrical Service Engineer - Lifting Equipment Position Requirements
  • City & Guilds Electrical Engineering Qualifications
  • City & Guilds inspection and testing (Desirable)
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
  • Experience in Mechanical Maintenance
  • A reasonable level of IT literacy.
  • IPAF and PASMA are not essential but desirable.
  • Experience of LOLER is not essential but ideal.
  • Comfortable with working at heights.
  • Full UK manual Driving License
Electrical Service Engineer - Lifting Equipment Position Remuneration
  • An hourly rate of £17.35p/h @ 40hr per week.
  • Daily subsistence allowance.
  • Company transport to locations including hotel accommodation.
  • Pension
  • 20 days holiday allowance (including statutory bank holidays).
