Job Description

Control Panel Builder / Electrical Installer required for a stage equipment manufacturer based in Thetford. Experienced Control Panel Builder/Electrical Installer required to join a small team building and installing bespoke control panels and control systemson an individual & small-batch basis.Control Panel Builder/Electrical Installer Position Overview

  • Ability to interpret wiring schematics & layout drawings
  • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Strict adherence to Health & Safety policies, including Method Statements & Risk Assessments
  • Able to work with trunking and conduit
  • Must be physically fit & comfortable with working at height
  • Experience in similar work, including wire/cable termination & electrical assembly
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Be conscientious & neat with their standard of workmanship
  • Willing to apply for a CSCS card
  • Be located within commuting distance of Thetford
  • Hold 18th Edition wiring regulations
  • Be capable of simple mechanical tasks - eg. Cutting apertures, assembling components
Control Panel Builder/Electrical Installer Position Requirements
  • Be familiar with PLC wiring
  • Hold a clean driving licence
  • Hold an Initial Verification Qualification and a Periodic Verification Qualification
This position requires periods of working away, staying in hotels paid for by Centre Stage for up to 4 nights (expenses paid) per week. Flexibility with working hours will also be necessary.Control Panel Builder/Electrical Installer Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £27k to £32k dependent on experience; However potentially negotiable to suit the right candidate.
