Job SpecificationOur partners are an expanding and reputable business in Thetford/Mildenhall and with their ongoing growth are looking for extra colleagues to assist their current Assemblers as demand for their product continues to increaseDuties –- Use of hand held equipment to aid in assembly of plastic items for electrical components- Understanding basic technical drawings to undertake and assemble of completed product- Cutting to specification , grinding and manipulation of plastic components in line with design specifications- Utilisation of alternative basic tools to help with manufacture of individual items- Continued upkeep of work areas making sure of an efficient workplace for you and your fellow team members- Understanding and adoption of Health and Safety instructions within the business- All other reasonable work related requests by SupervisorsSuitable candidates –- Career experience in Assembly role- A penchant for precision to adhere to design drawings and to be manually dextrous.- A capabilty to be hands on to assist in putting together of components- Knowledge of Assembly procedures would be a huge advantage- Dependable with outstanding punctuality- Employees whom possess own transport would be more suitable or residing close to business premises otherwise- Understanding of importance to work to targets and undertake role independently and on own initiative when necessary- An easy going persona to work effectively with fellow work colleagues.This is a temporary to permanent role with the chance of progression and of good quality assembly training for the right person.Working Hours – 08.00-17.00 Mon-Thu and 08.00-14.00 on a Friday
