Job Description

FTS Group has an Fantastic opportunity to be part of the launch of a new depot with a very reputable company. Working with one of the largest British furniture retailers in the Country that continues to grow year on year we are excited to be recruiting ateam of 7.5T or HGV2 drivers for full time, temp to perm vacancies starting as soon as possible for the opening of a brand new depot. Work Monday to Friday only. have your weekends to yourself.All vehicles are 7.5T, but HGV2 drivers are welcome to apply. You will be delivering home furnishings to residential properties.Get in touch now to get involved! These opportunities dont come round often.Job Details:

  • Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday, no weekends
  • Start Time: 0600 am daily
  • Shift Duration: 10 hours (min 8 guaranteed pay)
  • Number of Deliveries: 10-22 per day
Products Being Delivered:
  • House furnishings
  • Either Door step delivery or delivery to room of customer choice, routing is sensible
  • Some White Glove service, unbox, remove rubbish product install, (Not Flat Pack)
  • Part of a driver-driver crew (7.5T or HGV2 drivers both welcome)
  • Pre-planned routes in a driver-driver crew
Pay and Benefits
  • Hourly Pay: £12.51 plus holiday pay
  • Strictly no umbrellas companies. PAYE
  • Temp to perm with an ASAP start
Required Licenses or Certifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months UK experience in a 7.5T or HGV2
  • Driving licence must not exceed 6 points (no DD,CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
