We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic PMO Officer to join the team.The PMO Officer will be responsible for providing high quality PMO support and project coordination activity to support the organisation to meets its goals and objectives.The successful applicant will provide vital assistance to our project managers, to ensure the successfully delivery of our projects, to cost, time and quality targets, in line with best practice. This may be through hands-on support, such as building projectsplans in our ERP system, providing oversight reporting to flag issues or required actions, or coordinating progress updates across the project team. The PMO Officer will also contribute to wider PMO activities such as contributing to workshops and training sessions, developing process guides and project template documents and supporting business improvement activities across the organisation.About youYou will have experience of working in a project role, either directly on projects or within a PMO environment. Experience of working within a professional services organisation is advantageous. You will be highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively to deliver to deadlines. You will have a keen attention to detail and ability to interpret and analyse data and information - good Excel skills are key. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, with the ability to produce useful and informative documents.Every project can be different, so you must be comfortable working in new and uncertain environments, be flexible and ready to get stuck in!Ideal candidates will also have an interest in improvement work and finding solutions to challenges.If this sounds like you, send your CV with an awesome covering letter that tells us why we need to interview you!Required skills: Substantial Project/PMO Experience PRINCE2 desirable Outstanding organisational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong Excel, IT and system skills Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative Experience within a professional services organisation advantageous
