Job Description

TheRole:Upstream Research & Analysis Product Lead (Upstream Intelligence & PEPS suite) This role is part of the International Upstream Product Management team who are responsible for an industry leading energy product portfolio. Customer centricity is at the heart of the teams approach to product management, utilizing leading technology andindustry expertise to deliver information solutions that support our clients to achieve their objectives. The ImpactThis key role will set the vision and direction of the Upstream Intelligence and PEPS product suites, including GEPS, Daily Exploration Alert and International Energy Letter. You will collaborate with a cross-functional product team to develop and maintainproduct roadmaps & ensure that we are developing effective solutions for our clients. Through a deep understanding of upstream customer workflows and evolving customer needs through the energy transition, you will contribute to delivering next generation integratedsolutions to our energy customers. You will contribute towards strategic direction as well as managing tactical execution. This position plays an essential part in supporting the revenue growth of the Upstream Solutions business line. Responsibilities
  • On a day-to-day basis, youll be working within and across various PM and cross-functional teams in carrying out the core responsibilities of your role including gathering requirements and feedback from our customers on an ongoing basis to guide the productroadmap and strategy, solve customer issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • You will drive product evolution through the identification and execution of synergy opportunities and cross-platform workflow integration strategies aligned with broader business strategy.
  • You will work with the team to define a differentiated, integrated, and forward-looking product vision and lead the innovation of capabilities and workflow enhancements addressing new market needs driving expansion into new customer sectors.
  • You will provide subject matter expertise and guidance to product owners, development team, customer support, sales, and other internal stake holders and support commercial and marketing teams with customer and prospect engagements and campaigns.
What Were Looking For
  • Bachelors and/or a Masters degree in a related discipline, e.g. economics, geoscience or engineering.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps, the basics of working in an agile software development framework useful.
  • Experience and knowledge in upstream highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of how technologies can solve customer problems.
  • Ability to work with multiple content publication teams to ensure content governance.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and innovative thinker.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a global team of stakeholders.
