Fantastic chance to get your foot in the door of a nationally recognised company.The purpose of the role is to help maintain an effective credit control system for the company, reducing risk to the business and ensuring excellent client relationships. You will provide an efficient, customer-focused and reactive quality credit controlservice.Key Responsibilities - Sales Ledger / Credit Controller-Credit Control- Liaising with customers regarding payments still outstanding, contacting for payment via email or telephone and dealing with associated queries-Liaise with the Sales Manager where payments are overdue beyond 14 days-Issue weekly report on overdue payments to senior management.-Create credit notes, and upon receipt of appropriate documentation raise credit notes and submit to the MD for authorisation prior to being issued to customer-Post & allocate payments on the day of receipt-Issue monthly statement to customers-Set-up new customer accounts, ensuring that account opening forms are accurately completed and credit checks are made when necessary-Respond to customer queries in a timely manner-Prepare analyses and reconciliations as required by the customer or for internal purposesKey Attributes - Sales Ledger / Credit Controller-Previous finance experience-Computer literate to include MS Office Systems including Excel-Attention to detail-Flexible, enthusiastic team player-Fantastic communication skillsSalary: Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experienceHours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pmSales Ledger / Credit Controller - Tetbury (Nr Cirencester, Malmesbury, Kemble, Stroud, Nailsworth, Dursley)
