Job Description

Talent84 have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to Further themselves within the training industry.Job Spec:To ensure that all identified operational/compliance training activity is effectively planned, delivered and evaluated. Health & Safety is of key significance to this role and excellent attention to detail is imperative to support continuous improvementsin the H&S culture on siteKey Accountabilities:

  • Deliver operational/compliance Training to all employees including agency workers, reviewing and refreshing training on an ongoing basis in line with best practice, H&S guidelines and customer requirements
  • Work closely with departmental managers to ensure that business training priorities are met to agreed timelines & attend/minute the weekly training meeting.
  • Work closely with your Supervisor on training gap analysis and training hours administration, record keeping and target review (including maintenance of Papaya training system).
  • Work closely with your Supervisor to drive continuous improvements in all training activities.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures where required and deliver training accordingly. To work with your supervisor in managing the SOP authorisation process / sign off.
  • Play an active role in Health & Safety activities on site, including assisting Managers and other colleagues in areas such as accident investigations and risk assessment review (developing managers wherever possible in this area).
  • Control and update risk assessments including COSHH.
  • Ensure "good manufacturing practice" (GMP) is followed at all times. (Clean as you go, SOP adherence etc). Promote and encourage a Total Quality Management approach to our process and practices.
  • Communicate changes to procedures to all relevant employees, train accordingly and maintain appropriate records.
  • Monitor, maintain and drive improvements of departmental KPIs.
  • Ensure the safety, quality, authenticity and legality of our products are maintained at all times through compliance with Food Safety and quality procedures and systems.
  • To carry out other duties as may be required by the business.
Measures of Performance:
  • Accident, Near miss and H&S audits carried out.
  • Production of quality driven product resulting in best possible customer compliance and satisfaction.
  • Manage assigned area to achieve output and efficiency targets. Departmental KPIs.
Knowledge and Skill:
  • Must be able to work using own initiative.
  • An understanding of the importance of traceability to the business.
  • An understanding of the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point techniques.
  • A high level of concentration and attention to detail, a commitment to right first time.
  • Inherent understanding of site hygiene, technical and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Able to understand and implement Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Good administrative skills required to record data and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Good IT Skills (excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communicator at all levels and can demonstrate a can-do attitude.
