You will also publish content to our website and support the studio with any additional design requirements.Working as part of a studio team, your duties will include:- Editorial page design and layout- Creating smart digital layouts of internally generated and commissioned content- Sourcing and optimising appropriate destination images for the guides- Performing image copyright management administrationAbout YouTo join us as a Designer, you will need:- A degree-level qualification in a design-related discipline- A portfolio of work showcasing your ideas and creative executions- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps in particular InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge and Acrobat Pro- An interest in graphic design,mediaand publishing, with a passion for editorial layout- Strong typographical skills and a meticulous eye for detail- A level orGCSE English language qualification- Proficiency in using Apple Macs-The ability to work well individually and as part of a teamKnowledge of WordPress would be beneficial to your application, but not essential as training can be provided.Other organisations may call this role Graduate Designer, Design Graduate, Graduate Design Assistant, Graduate Graphic Designer, Junior Designer, Junior Graphic Designer, Publishing Designer, Junior Multimedia Assistant, or Design Assistant.Webrecruitand Kingfisher Media Ltd clients are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
