Aligned to this is ourcommitment to offering a sector leading range of benefits including a generous holiday allowance of 30 days and 8 bank holidays, accredited training and development opportunities, a 6% matched pension scheme and additional voluntary money saving benefits.Following our recent growth, and successes, in the employability and careers sector we are recruiting a Creative Artworker to join the Employability and Careers marketing team in the Team Valley (reporting into Sheffield or Gateshead regional office)The Creative Artworker will play an important role in the Employability and Careers marketing team by undertaking a wide variety of design and art working tasks, ranging from producing social media graphics to print projects together with a range of brandand digital assets.You will be working on development of new and existing artwork for multiple projects, including the ESF Youth Routeways and Making a Difference programmes. Working in partnership with contract teams, the Employability and Careers marketing team and otherinternal stakeholders, we are looking for a hands-on creative who can confidently take briefs from multiple stakeholders and develop these into exciting visuals.You should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues to articulate ideas, have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for design.Person specification:KnowledgeEssential:

  • A sound technical understanding of the graphic design and print processes and a good knowledge of web development process as relates to graphic design and branding
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to follow and apply brand guidelines, ensuring these are consistently used across all collateral
  • Working knowledge of online publishing and accessibility guidelines
  • An understanding of and a commitment to equality of opportunity
Desirable:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Project management principles
  • Good working knowledge of HTML and coding
  • Evidence continual professional development / keen interest in current and future design trends
ExperienceEssential:
  • Proven graphic design experience
  • Substantial experience in interpreting a brief and taking a project from concept to completion
  • Experienced in using social media to deliver campaigns, especially Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Effectively and efficiently managing a wide range of projects simultaneously
  • Using brand guidelines in the development of campaigns and digital assets
Desirable:
  • Experience of data visualisation
  • Experience of web management and content management systems
  • Experience of working on both B2B and B2C campaigns
  • Experience of working in the careers or education sector
  • Experience of Design development, Copywriting and Photography and video production
