Job Description

Trainee AccountantTaunton, SomersetSalary to £22,000 + Study Support + BenefitsCV Screen is recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join a successful an Accountancy Business. You will be joining a team that provides great support and offers the opportunity to progress towards your desired career path.OVERVIEW OF THE ROLEThe Main duties of a Trainee Accountant will involveworking on and assisting

  • Preparing financial statements
  • Bookkeeping and reporting
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Liaising with HMRC
REQUIREMENTS
  • Finance or Accounting degrees are beneficial but not essential
  • Desire to gain professional accounting qualifications, e.g. ACA / ACCA
  • An analytical approach and a problem-solving attitude
  • Enjoys building relationships and willingness to work with clients to assist them
  • Ability to adapt to difficult workload demands, e.g. time/resource constraints
  • Any knowledge of IRIS and Xero would be useful.
