  • ABOUT MSCWe are a leader in the supply of Metalworking and Maintenance, Repair and Operations products and services, currently employing over 240 people from our head office in Wednesbury.We work with our customers to help them be the best business they can be.Our unique approach enables businesses to streamline their supply chain providing opportunities to help them improve their purchasing control, inventory management, engineering production processes as they scale, and gives those who run businesses more of what they need the most... greater productivity, profitability and growth!We work with our customers to identify operational improvements across their business, enabling them to grow more efficiently, drive down costs, get to market faster and become more profitable.Our goal is to drive results for our customers businesses - from keeping operations running efficiently today to continuously rethinking, retooling and optimizing for a more productive tomorrow.We truly put the customer at the heart of everything we do, providing exceptional service through exceptional people.ABOUT THE SALES TEAMOur Territory Account Managers are essential to the success of our business, ensuring sales growth across the MSC customer base, delivering innovative, market-leading products and services to support our sales value proposition (SVP).Our value proposition and sales strategy seeks to build and leverage relationships with key senior decision-makers to build trust and offer services and solutions which help them to grow faster, drive down costs and become more profitable.Our client base has unique problems that need solving and our sales strategy requires our sales team to be curious enough to understand the problems and care enough to help solve them.Engaging with senior decision-makers from Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Workshops, we work to understand needs and issues to, win, grow, maintain and protect business, thinking creatively in optimising sales opportunities and providing solutions and services to overcome the challenges our customers encounter in their day to day operationsYOUR PART IN THE TEAMWe are looking to recruit an energetic, passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our Sales Team as a Field Based Sales Account Manager, able to make commercial decisions and deliver results, able to identify and closeout high-value sales delivering sustainable and profitable growth to enable us to achieve our ambition to "Double in 5".As a Territory Account Manager, you will represent MSC at client sites within an allocated geographical area, working alongside an Internal Territory Account Manager and a Technical Sales Engineer to identify sales opportunities within existing and new customers.An important part of our territory sales model is to identify the largest sales opportunities and to dedicate the right resource in order to generate and close profitable sales opportunities.Working closely with other members of the Sales Team to understand our customers and their needs - you will be their champion, translating their challenges and questions into solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, account retention and optimising sales by constructing sound commercial deals.WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED AND HELP TRANSFORM OUR BUSINESSTo succeed in this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, highly personable, flexible, and enthusiastic.You will be proactive with a passion and mindset to win.
