Are you a qualified motor vehicle Painter/Repairer specialist, looking for a new challenge Would you like the opportunity to work for the South West?s largest automotive dealership groupDue to expansion and operational need, our client are opening a new Repair Centre in Taunton, Somerset and require a Smart Repair Operative and also a Senior Smart Repair Operative to set up and operate the function.   • Could this be the role for meThey are looking for capable Smart Repair Operatives from an automotive Body Shop or Smart environment, via an independent or franchised garage, who can prepare and polish out damaged areas, mask up vehicles in readiness for painting, carry out minor repairs to body panels and alloy wheels and also polish over vehicles following them being painted amongst other ad hoc duties. Ideally, you will possess:
  • A body repair/spray paint qualification such an NVQ or C&G
  • Health & Safety training records
  • Up to date skillset in paint & spray technologies
  • Estimating/costing/charging out experience (Senior role)
  • Articulacy with a high level of attention to detail (pre-requisite)
  • A desire to offer a 5 star customer service on every occasion
  • Integrity and diligence
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Resilient work ethic and commitment
  • A full driving licence
