Do you want to work within a fast-growing, dynamic, supportive, and fun companyAs a result of business success and growth, our client is looking for Service Delivery Engineers to join their team in Taunton.The purpose of this role is to provide fibre installation services within customer premises, providing a customer-focussed service to our residential and business customers.Salary / Perks / Benefits* £competitive salary* Access to private GP and Mental Health services* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays* Contribution to RAC coverKey duties and responsibilities will include:- Complete site surveys to record the most appropriate route - Installing fibre in customer premises, business and residential, including splicing- Undertake appropriate testing to ensure the service ordered will deliver an excellent customer experience- Being customer centric at-all-times, and making sure the customer is delighted with the service and installation completed before leaving site- Working collaboratively with other teams to troubleshoot technical queries and resolve issues- Working collaboratively with team members to organise sales visits, installations and arrange service calls- Ensure regular communications with the SD Supervisor, team members, and other teams in order to maintain a reliable network that our customers expect - Ensure that all installation compliance requirements are correct and up to date- Work on special projects, as assigned, to help achieve the goals of the department- Some out of hours and weekend work will be involved in the role, which will be paid at our Standard Overtime Rates- Undertake any other relevant duties that are reasonably requested of you for the benefit of our customers and the businessQualifications/Experience:- A valid UK drivers license and a satisfactory driving record (required)- Street works Unit 2 signing, lighting and guarding NRSWA (preferred but not essential)- External cabling (preferred but not essential)- Internal cabling (preferred but not essential)- Confined spaces low risk (preferred but not essential)- Confined spaces high risk (preferred but not essential)- Overhead accreditations (preferred but not essential)- Civils experience (preferred but not essential) - Proficient with software programs for storage and archival of test equipment results- Use of the MS Office suite of applications Key skills & Attributes:- Note that this role includes physical challenges: * The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy equipment. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus and colour vision* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. * The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock.- Solid organisational ability and an attention to detail- Self-starter with a focus on solving problems and providing solutions- Customer-centric approach to service delivery- Good written and verbal communications skills- Problem solver and solution providerIf you have the experience required to fulfil this role then we would love to hear from you!King Recruit is committed to the selection, recruitment of the best people, basing judgments solely on suitability for the job.
