Job Title: Senior Setter & Moulding ManagerLocation: TauntonSalary: This is a permanent vacancy with a starting salary of £30K - £36KHours: Successful candidate needs to be flexible with hours they can work but this will be day hours, working 38 hours a week.Our very well established client are currently recruiting for a Senior Setter & Moulding Manager to join their busy team.We are currently looking for a enthusiastic Senior Setter & Moulding Manager to support our clients busy team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the moulding operation form setting, mould maintenance and training within the department and to assist in completing customers orders on time, in line with agreed quality and costs.Duties will include:* ensuring all operatives are fully trained in accordance with specifications* ensuring that all works orders are met and the production plan is achieved* co-ordination of tool maintenance and repair* process improvement and reduction in waste and downtime* carry out tool changes/condition setting and to resolve any machine or moulding problems* liaising with other departments to ensure operations run smoothly* ensuring work areas are kept in a safe, neat and tidy orderThe ideal candidate will:* have an excellent knowledge of Injection Moulding processes and related materials & machines* be able to work under pressure without supervision, in a quality and results driven environment* be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff* have skills of being process focused and an understanding of continuous improvement* Add value to existing/new processesIf you think this role could be for you please apply today or call us on !Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer Required skills
