Job Description

REGISTERED MANAGER REQUIRED IN TAUNTON, SOMERSET - £50000 PER ANNUM (DOE) PLUS PERFORMANCE RELATED BONUSMEDIUM SIZED FRIENDLY, FAMILY RUN, ELDERLY NURSING HOMECare First Recruitment are very proud to be working with a very prestigious Nursing Home. caring for elderly residents, based in the Taunton area, now seeking a Registered Manager.The Care Home is very welcoming, friendly and caring, very close to the town centre in Taunton, SomersetThe staff provide a high standard of care and support to elderly service usersWe currently seek to recruit a highly, motivated and determined Registered Manager who can meet the following criteria please:

  1. Must be a Registered Manager with QCF/NVQ Level 4 or 5
  2. Ideally will have at least 2 years experience as a Registered Manager in a Nursing or Residential care home
  3. Must ideally be running a "Good" CQC rated Care Home at present.
  4. Must have ability and experience of maintaining Good CQC ratings and working to achieve Outstanding
  5. Ability and experience of leading and mentoring a team.
  6. Good knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements, Safeguarding procedures and best practices of care.
  7. Must have solid clinical skills, plus have the ability to administer medication, do audits, assess new residents and must understand compliancy.
  8. Good administration skills and must be computer literate.
  9. Must be able to use computerised Care Planning, Medication and E Learning systems e.g. PCS, VCare and Elearning
  10. Must have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  11. Ability to market the care home and have the ability to fill the beds.
