Production Operative - Near Taunton, Somerset - Temporary to Permanent starting pay £11.91 per hourWe are recruiting for Production Operatives in Wellington, Somerset on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a company who will invest time in training you and reward you for it.You will be working in a small team programming and operating the machinery to carry out the manufacturing of their products. This will involve quality control fault finding and problem solving. You will be working in a noisy environment at room temperature.Hours of work:* 40 hours per week (on a rotating shift pattern)* Monday to Friday* 6.00am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm* All of your breaks are paidRate of pay:* Starting rate of pay is £11.91 (£24,772 per annum)* After you are fully trained on one machine which will take around 3 months your pay increases to £13.10 an hour (£27,248 per annum)* After you are fully trained on two machines which will take 6 - 12 months your pay will increase again to £15.42 an hour (£32,073 per annum)* Over time is paid at time and a half and up to double time if you work a weekend.Benefits:* Training programme* Pay rises with career progression* All breaks are paid* Enhanced pay for working overtime* 33 days holiday (after 12 weeks)* Free uniform that is cleaned for you (after 12 weeks)Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
