Pulsford Lodge is situated in the small market town of Wiveliscombe, standing on the foothills of the Brendon and Quantock Hills on the Somerset/Devon border, with Exmoor National Park on the doorstep. The home enjoys magnificent views over Exmoor, and the surrounding countryside. The team at the home are committed to providing the highest quality of residential care in a friendly, homely environment. As a Night Care Assistant you will be working from 8.00pm – 7.30am, typically working 2, 3 or 4 nights per week, which will include working alternate weekends. There are lots of advantages to working nights which for some people can include; it being an easier commute, more convenient for childcare or perhaps it’s the enhanced rate of pay. No matter the reason, anyone joining our night teams will be integral to the smooth running of our care home and play a vital role in delivering exceptional person centred care 24/7. About the role of a Night Care Assistant: You’ll be joining a dedicated team of health care professionals committed to supporting with personal care, daily living routines and companionship in a way that shows our customers respect and kindness, just as they deserve. About you You don’t need experience to be a Night Care Assistant, we can give you all the training you need right from day one and as soon as you achieve your care certificate we’ll support you further to go on to achieve your Level 2/3 qualifications. What you need most of all is a desire to help, a passion for making a difference and to enjoy making things that little bit easier for our residents..
