Job Description

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) are a nationally recognised mortgage broker and network, winners of over 150 awards in the past 5 years and continually growing.We are recruiting for one of our fast growing Mortgage broker businesses based in Somerset who work with a wide range of customers and pride themselves on delivering a great service to all of their clients.The business is expanding and are looking for Office based mortgage advisors to join the already established and successful team; flexibility of working from home will be considered where this can be evidenced as being suitable & sustainable.They believe in trusting their employees and therefore are flexible with the hours worked, providing minimum standards are met. Bonus schemes are available for hitting service & compliance standards and also a commission structure based on the levels of business banked.Mortgage Advisor Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved in inbound and outbound calls as well as being available to meet clients face to face
  • You will have access to a number of leads, from various sources including Estate Agents, New Build Developers and Accountants
    • The Ideal candidate:
  • Passionate about giving every client you speak with a bespoke service based on their individual needs
  • To have excellent communication and rapport building skills; ability to be personable yet professional
  • Conscientious with ensuring you keep yourself continually up to date with an ever changing sector
  • Able to build long standing relationships with not only your clients but your lead referrers
  • Proactive, can-do attitude, follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and build solutions for your clients
  • You must be CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with experience in the market place.
  • You must be compliant and have a full employment history as referencing will be required.
  • You must be driven to succeed in a role that can be very demanding
    • Hours are flexible, however due to the nature of some of the referral business, weekend work may be required occasionally. Required skills
