Light Goods Vehicle (LGV) Engineer £25.00 - £31.00 per hour (depending on shift and vehicle arrangement) We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a leading provider of road transport engineering support in the UK. Their success has come from deliveringtechnical excellence and relentless high levels of customer service. This vacancy for an LGV / HGV Engineer is based in Taunton working with NHS vehicles ensuring they are always ready to respond. We are seeking an experienced LGV Engineeror HGV Engineer to perform inspections, servicing, and general maintenance on predominantly Light Goods Vehicles including but not limited to Ford, Skoda and Mercedes. Requirements: To be considered for this position, ideal candidates should possess the following:Qualifications NVQ/SVQ/City and Guilds Level Three or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicles OR Heavy Vehicles. Level 2 would be considered if experience is significant enough. Experience Minimum three years experience post-apprenticeship/ qualificationin Light Goods Vehicles or Heavy Goods Vehicles Licenses and Accreditations Valid UK Driving Licence is essential (clean licence is preferred, but all can be considered). Skills Proficient in performing inspections, servicing, and general maintenance on LightGoods Vehicles or Heavy Goods Vehicles. Equipment Possess a comprehensive personal toolkit Own van or can have access to company vehicle by arrangement Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Takes pridein presenting yourself professionally. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Employment Type Self-employed contractor position Schedule: Monday to Friday day shifts Day shift approximately 8am-4pm Ability to commute/relocate: Taunton: reliablycommute Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Salary: £25.00-£31.00 per hour Long term Contract.
