Job Description

Job Title: HGV TechnicianSalary: £36,000 - £40,000 DOE + OvertimeLocation: TauntonAlecto Recruitment are working together with our client to find an Experienced HGV Technician.This is a great opportunity to work for a market leading company with years experience in the Haulage / HGV industry.shift patternMonday - Friday 6am - 2.30pm + 1.30PM (Rota Sat morning)This is a Full-Time permanent position in the Sheffield area.The responsibilities:

  • To carry out inspection, servicing, and repairs on HGV / LGV Vehicles
  • Fault Diagnostics while solving problems that may arise
  • HGV Pre MOT inspections maintaining DVSA standards
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is kept up to date
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Ideally NVQ level 3 in HGV (not essential)
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience within the HGV Technician role
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to be a team player
  • Work safely and maintaining company practice
