A growing accountancy practice based in Taunton is searching for a Full, or Part Time Tax Manager to join their team as a key addition. You will carve a key position here working with the Directors within this growing business overseeing the delivery ofa quality compliance service across both personal and corporate tax, whilst also with a focus on leading the delivery of wide ranging tax planning and project work.Client DetailsBased in Taunton this accountancy practice has developed an excellent reputation acting for varied and interesting clients across wide ranging sectors to include builders, consultants, property developers, architects, marketing, designers, television production,engineering, software developers as just some examples. The firm acts for OMBs and corporate clients, wide ranging in turnovers up into the £millions with core range in the hundreds of thousands. Alongside this the firm has a strong tax offering servicinga large number of individuals, directors, HNWI and international tax cases. The firm offers a very hands on, team focused collaborative environment.DescriptionJoining as Full, or Part Time Tax Manager based from the firms Taunton offices you will work closely with the Directors overseeing the delivery of a quality compliance service across both personal and corporate tax, whilst also with a focus on leading thedelivery of wide ranging tax planning and project work. You will manage the team, reviewing work providing guidance and support and carve a key position within this growing firm. Examples of planning work you may get involved with will cover work across CGT,residence/non residence, non domicile advice and international tax involvement & offshore funds. Trust compliance and advice. EIS, SEIS and investment advice, property taxes, SDLT and other wide ranging project work. The opportunity presents a chance to carvea key position within this firm as the firms tax expert, building relationships with clients and your team, developing an influential position within a growing firm leading the development of their tax department with a good degree of autonomy, whilst withthe support of the firms directors.ProfileYou will be either CTA and/or, ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified and you will have either developed a focused tax career within accountancy practice/ specialist tax firm or,Your experience will have been developed in any mix of Top Tier, Top Ten, 50, large/medium orsmall regional independent firm background, or specialist tax firm and you will be looking for the right career move either on a full, or part time basis with potential to mould this around the right person preferences and motivations.Job OfferCirca £50,000 - £55,000 + dependent on experience and background, negotiable with benefits.
