Job Description

As one of Britains longest established specialist Insurers, our client provides the funds that enable tens of thousands of their customers to access the medical care they need from a wide selection of healthcare professionals, at the time and place of their choosing.The numerous industry awards that they have accumulated are testament to their innovative use of technology, and also their desire to be creative and forward thinking with their product design, and to drive change within the healthcare sector.They are unwavering in their commitment to customer service excellence and seek to employ people who go beyond the ordinary and want to be part of something special.ScopeThe purpose of this role is to support Healthcare Partners and registered intermediaries (brokers) in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: compliance monitoring and record keeping, a backup resource for training and recruitment of Healthcare Partners (Franchisees), support via the telephone and in writing through effective administration ensuring it is done to the highest possible standard.Key Responsibilities and DutiesAdministration

  • Deals with all telephone calls and emails received within the department, taking ownership and carrying out the necessary follow-up actions to ensure that excellent customer is always achieved;
  • Responsible for carrying out all administration and record-keeping for Healthcare Partners and WPA registered Intermediaries, working in conjunction with team members;
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for ensuring that any complaints received are addressed within WPA Group guidelines and all necessary actions completed;
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for ensuring all Healthcare Partner funding requests are approved and accurately processed and recorded;
  • Maintains understanding of relevant regulation and legislation and applies understanding to the day-to-day activities.
  • Experience and Skill Requirements
  • Previous experience of carrying out a wide range of administrative duties in a busy environment;
  • Delivers exceptional customer service;
  • Excellent attention to detail and has the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively in order to meet appropriate deadlines and targets, with work produced to a high standard;
  • Excellent skills in all types of communication, including representing the company with all relevant stakeholders;
  • Ability to present and deliver training courses professionally;
  • Ability to build rapport with people and maintain successful working relationships to ensure that all matters are managed effectively;
  • Sound judgement and problem solving skills;
  • A positive attitude focused on improving service standards and outcomes;
  • Desire to be part of a team that is passionate about what they do, always willing to go the extra mile and to treat others as they would want to be treated themselves;
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams;
  • Previous training experience and/or working in a regulatory industry would be beneficial but not essential.
