Job Description

TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm committed to delivering exceptional legal services. They are a Top 200 law firm who takes pride in their collaborative approach, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.As they continue to expand their footprint, this firm is seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Associate Solicitor to join the experienced, growing team. This role can be conducted from the Exeter or Taunton office. Primary Focus:The role primarily revolves around commercial law, with an emphasis on Intellectual Property. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial law and a good working knowledge of Intellectual Property law and practice. Our client is looking foran ambitious individual between 4-8 years PQE. Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a mix of corporate and commercial work.
  • Assist with the current workload while playing a key role in developing and growing the practice area.
  • Manage and develop the team, including effective supervision and delegation to team members.
Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Strong commercial experience.
  • 4-8 years PQE as a qualified Solicitor or CILEX lawyer
  • Knowledge and experience in Intellectual Property (preferred).
  • Ability to work commercially on their own and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
  • Capability to build both internal and external networks.
  • A strong focus on business development, excellent communication skills, and confidence in presenting.
