An opportunity has arisen based in Taunton to join a growing firm of accountants as a key addition supporting managers and directors as a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator focused on providing payroll, bookkeeping services and assisting on year end accountsup to extended trial balance, preparing VAT returns along with a variety of other services.Client DetailsA highly successful and positively growing accountancy practice based in Taunton. The business has been undergoing continued and sustained positive growth through referrals and new business generation. . The firm has embraced online accounting moving clientsonto Xero, Quickbooks and whilst experience with cloud accounting will be ideal, a background working on Sage or other software is equally of interest and transferable. Part time or full time working arrangements can work from three to four days, or full time.DescriptionJoining as Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator you will take responsibility for the delivery of bookkeeping services, payroll and assisting on year end accounts up to extended trial balance, preparation of VAT returns and involvement with wider services,dependent on the background and experience of the right professional. You will work on varied clients mixed in industry range and turnover. Clients are primarily limited company, OMBs, SMEs. Alongside this they act for a significant number of smaller soletraders, start-ups and larger clients are into the £millions in turnover. You will carve a key, support role here to managers and directors with increasing responsibility, client contact and development on offer with the role and firm.ProfileFor this Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator position you may be an AAT qualified technician, or you may have developed your career through experience to date only and be looking to build further on this, in a hands on role. Most importantly, as a key requirementto be considered for this role and firm, you will have developed experience across payroll and bookkeeping within an accountancy practice firm of any siz. You will have at least two to three years or ideally more experience developed within an accounting firm/ accountancy practice environment, as a key requirement. Part time or full time working arrangements can work up to four days, or full time.Job Offer£24,000 - £30000 dependent on the background and experience of the right professional, plus benefits. .
