Job Description

TeamJobs are looking for an experienced Warehouse Administrator for a global distribution company. Located at their brand-new office and warehouse in Tamworth, this opportunity gives the right candidate an opportunity to join this great evolving team.You will be responsible for the operation of the relevant Warehouse management System, providing information, work, and support for the daily warehouse operation. Work in conjunction with the First Line Manager / Shift manager and Customer requirements whilstalways maintaining stock integrity.The Salary is £24,000pa

The role involves:
  • Supporting and maintaining the Warehouse Management System Investigation, problem solving, RDT issues and administration to include logging of calls to the WMS provider.
  • Maintaining a daily routine of Pick Face replenishment issues/problem solving at start of shift and throughout the shift.
  • Assisting with other clerical and operational duties as and when required ensuring that all outbound movement processes are recorded and reported accurately, compliantly and on a timely basis.
  • Providing administration support and paperwork for warehouse operations concerning despatch, to include printing of PODs, checking, and matching to loading sheet and then processing of orders.
  • Managing the resolution of stock issues that occur during the daily operation of the Warehouse, returns, damages, loss, and claims, moving stock and checking the sin bin area daily, ensuring all issues are processed on shift and a handover to the oncomingshift takes place thus ensuring stock integrity at all times.
  • Administering all stock moves in relationship with Damages procedure, ensuring all damage sheets are processed, the stock is physically checked, and the damages database is updated.
  • Working in partnership with Shift Managers, monitoring the daily workflow ensuring timescales and quality of work are achieved, resolving problems where applicable in a quick, safe, and timely fashion.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to assess, priorities, and plan accordingly, working knowledge in using software packages, understanding of Warehouse Management Systems & Working knowledge of physical warehouse operations.This role would suit someone who has at least 1 years experience in a similar role. Someone who has good working experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, as well as knowledge of using a Warehouse management system.
